How Kinesiology changes your Limiting Beliefs into Positive ones!

The Kinesiology workshop that I presented on Tuesday 28th July 2009, was enjoyed by all of the members at the Wise ‘n’ Well Club (from the Logan Women’s Health & Wellbeing Centre).

The women heard how Kinesiology can help in coping with every day stresses, by using simple yet effective Kinesiology techniques.

In the Kinesiology workshop the women were able to volunteer for demonstrations and have a hands on Kinesiology experience. I spoke about the “Triangle of Health, and demonstrated how our body, mind and emotions must be in harmony with each other. If they are not this causes stress and tension with the other parts of us and we then either compensate for the stress, or something happens to us, eg. We get sick, have accidents, become mentally and physically exhausted to name but a few. I then taught the women how to use some simple yet effective kinesiology techniques to use, such as:

Whole Body Checking – This is when your body moves either backwards, forwards or stands still to find out if your body is under stress or not. The women had a lot of fun checking different foods, colours, words etc and actually saw the results of how different things affected them. This kinesiology technique will be beneficial when going to the supermarket and helping the women choose the more appropriate foods for their bodies. It can also be used, as a yes/no answer, to find out if there is something stressing out your body. If there is something stressing the body then ESR can be used.

ESR (Emotional Stress Release) – By holding certain points on your head, it can help to alleviate the stress that is being held in your body. This is a great kinesiology technique to use when you are under stress, or you have a memory block. It is useful in study and exams, or going for a new job interview etc.

I then went on to teach them about Negative thought patterns and Limiting Belief systems. How they also have an affect you physically, mentally and emotionally. If your beliefs are limiting, they act like a break on moving in the forward direction, and even though you take action to keep on moving forward, the moment you start to see good results, your limiting belief pulls you right back and confirms your inner limiting belief and negative self talk. Not all beliefs are true – it’s believing in them is what make them true! Always remember that Belief is a choice!

When you are having difficulty in changing your limiting beliefs to new positive ones, there may be a deeper issue that needs to be addressed. Sometimes there are conflicts and reversals going (conscious or unconscious) within your mind. By using kinesiology, any of those sabotage programs can be found and dealt with and then cleared. This allows for you to continue to move forward and achieve your goals that you have set for yourself.

I received very positive comments, from the women, about the kinesiology workshop and the co-ordinator from Wise ‘n’ Well Club has asked me to come back and present this workshop, for them, again.
